GRADE : B
Due to technology, each band has their own sound. It almost sounds as if each band was recorded in a different venue. With that in mind, each band was approached as an individual to make this sound as a cohesive unit. This recording was a bit of a diamond in the rough. In the end it came out pretty good. In my opinion ZPZ came out sounding the best on this night. For DT’s set the instruments sound very good, the vocals, not so much. As was the case in other recordings I have heard from this tour, the fill in soundman is doing some strange eqing on JLB making him sound odd and not connected to the mix. For me I can’t wait for Randy’s return after this leg.
This recording is graded as a "B" due to the taper using the devices internal microphones, as well, there is a bit of talking. The real gem of this is hearing Nick's audience participation during Prophets Of War and The Count Of Tuscany.
